What is Home

Home isn't just a building or a place, home is a feeling you need to embrace. Home is family, warmth, and comfort all around, a little world of love where peace is always found. With comfortable couches and gaming sessions, we slip into worlds shaped by our own obsessions. When we’re home we feel a sense of safety, A sacred space where love is always waiting. It’s where our days feel calm and less frustrating, a gentle place that never needs explaining. When you're at home you feel a slight warmth, a little fire that keeps you on course. A winter morning cold and bright shared with a family can feel just right. Like that feeling of sitting next to a fireplace like a hot touch or a warm embrace. Home is filled with love as warm as a heavy blanket that cheers me up, when im down The love that most homes secretly store is like nothing else you've seen before. Homes have the best love of all; it's a place we rise, a place we fall. Overall home isn't just a building or a place, home is filled with memories that we all need to embrace. It's not about the Ipad, the reason I entered this competition was to let others know the feeling of home. But that's not it. My true dream is to let everyone feel that warm love, that peace and comfort in that home. All in all I just would like to say thank you to Habitat for your humanity for giving kids the opportunity to show their meaning of home.
