Home is Wherever you are

To me, home was never just a building made of brick or wood. It was never just a house on a street or in a city. To me home is one of the most important things. Home is filled with love, it’s welcoming and warmth. Home is filled with love. When I come home from a hard day at school I'm greeted by my dogs jumping on me and my mum greeting me with a loving smile. My parents shower me with love and care no matter what, every day they show me how much they love me every morning and night. Home is love. Home is where I feel welcomed. At home I can be whoever I want to be where nobody can judge me. Home is where I am welcomed by my parents no matter what I'm like or how I act. At home I am welcomed with open arms. My home is warm. Home is where I am given warm hugs by my parents whenever I need one. I cuddle with my parents on the couch while we watch movies. When my dogs sit on me their soft fur makes me feel warm inside. My home makes me feel warm inside. Thank you habitat for humanity for giving those who didn’t have a home, a home where they can feel loved, welcomed and warm. Home is whatever you want it to be. Home is wherever you are.
