Home is Here

Home is somewhere that we all know. Home isn’t just a building, it is something else entirely. It is not a place full of separate rooms. Home is cozy, it is family, and love. What makes me know my home is it’s where I play on my warm computer full of fun things. It is where I’m on the couch rolled in a blanket drinking hot chocolate. I feel cozy when I lie down on the couch. Home is where I lay in bed reading almost each night. Home is a cozy place. My family is what helps me feel at home. My parents are some of the best people that I have ever met. They are so funny and they are kind to me, and I hope that they will remember all the fun times we have had over all this time. My little brother is very weird and goofy, but I like that about him. He is kind, he’s funny, and that is what makes him my little brother. My dog is the fluffiest thing I have ever met. She is very silly, sweet, and cute. I hope that she lives a great life. Home is my family. The greatest thing about my home is that it is where I am loved. I feel loved when I hug my parents in the morning. I feel loved when I come home to see a happy little puppy wagging her tail as I come through the door. I feel loved when I see my family smiling warmly at my face. Love is part of my home. I hope that people understand what I’m trying to say. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for doing this so that people can have somewhere to call home.
