Home is where the heart is

Home is where you feel loved the most, not where you live. Home is everywhere you can imagine, not in just one specific place. Home is where you feel warmth, laughter, and when you have lots of memories. Warmth is what makes me happy, for me warmth is; me laying on my bed with my blanket all cozied up with my fuzzy cat. It’s the best feeling ever. Warmth is me walking through the door and smelling the fresh dinner being cooked up for me. That’s what makes me feel the presence of warmth. Laughter is the best feeling you could have. When I laugh it’s when I’m with my family having a good time together laughing about the most random stuff. It’s also when me and my friends decide to do the most random stuff possible. Laughter is where you enjoy moments with the people around you. There's plenty of memories spent with my family and friends that I hope to remember forever. Ever since I was young I’d skip through my house and I’d always be called Skipper; Barbie’s little sister. Every year me and all my cousins get together for secret santa, it’s always the best time of the year where we get presents, make memories, and spend time with each other. Memories are every little moment and you never know how much you’ll miss them. In the end, home isn’t just walls or a roof. It’s the warmth, the laughter, and the memories built inside. But sadly not every family has a home where they can feel that. That's why Habitat for Humanity is building homes for families all over the world so they can feel what other people have felt.
