Memories that always stay

For me, home has never just been a building. It has been a place with millions of memories that stay in one special place, my heart. Home is where I have spent my whole life. Where I grew up, where the best memories are made. Home is a feeling. Home is memories, it is laughter and it is warmth. Memories are the big moments, the little moments, we will always remember. Every trip to a place we take, camping in the backyard, baking in the kitchen and letting my sisters taste test, and playing board games on Friday night with pizza. Building these strong memories is building our home, bringing our family as close as can be. Laughter is a big part of our lives. It brings us joy and happiness to our family. Watching funny movies together all skwished on the couch, when our dog Stella gets the zoomies and we all join in as we run all around the backyard like crazy people or when we put on music and dance all around the kitchen. Times like these you need in your life. The funnies are a big part of my family and it will always be, no matter if we grow apart. Warmth is a feeling when we are cozy, happy and joyful. When we are at the campfire eating dinner, cuddling on the coach with my mom after a long day of school, family movies with the fireplace blasting the heat. These are some of the warm moments that are a part of my family. Home is a big part of people's lives. It brings them together, and brings them apart. Habitat for Humanity can help with that.
