What Home Really Means To Me
For me, home hasn't been a building, it’s a place you live for your whole life, it’s a place with long and short memories with you in it or your family. To me, home is family, it is pets and it is memories.
My loving family always makes me feel at home all the time. My older brother always tries to make me laugh whenever I’m down. Me and my brother play Minecraft together when we get home after school. My mom, dad and brother play board games like, Ticket to Ride, Uno or Go fish on holidays or when there's no school. Sometimes me and my dad wrestle for and sometimes my brother joins and me and my brother team up on him. Wherever my dad is at work during the weekend I sleep with my mom.
Pets to me don't just live in your house they take part of your life and in your family. I love whenever my dog’s nose is at the window whenever I leave for school. Sometimes when I wake up from my bed in the morning, my cat just starts walking up to me and when I stand up my cat starts rubbing me with her head. When I get home from school I unlock the door and my dog is just waiting for me or my family.
Memories are when you had remembered something amazing or terrible that has happened in your life. Sometimes on summer break I go to my grandmas apartment building in Albania. When I sleep in, the apparent room feels like home to me. Visiting my uncles at the same time as I visit my cousins in Albania.
This is what home really means to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity
