The Meaning of Home

I believe that Home is not a building, or the walls around you. Home is something that not all people have. I am lucky to have something I call home. I believe that Home is where you find your family, love, and safety. I believe family is very important in a home. Every day when I come home my cat comes to the door to greet me by rubbing along my legs and purring. My parents make me feel at home, when my cat is done rubbing along my leg my dad comes to give me a hug and ask about my day. When my mom is done with her work she comes downstairs and gives me a hug and hangs out with me for a while. That is why I believe family is truly important for a home. I also believe that love is very important in a good home too. I believe that love makes you feel warm and comfy which is an important part of a home. I love my cat and he seems to feel at home with me when I show signs of love to him. I believe safety is really important for me to feel at home. I don't feel comfortable without feeling safe. I feel safe around family and friends. And I believe that is important for my feeling of being at home. My cat also feels safe around me and my parents. I feel sorry for the people who don’t have the feeling of being at home with family, loved ones, and safety. I think they deserve to have something they call a safe home to live in.
