The Meaning Of Home

Have you ever had a home? A home means to me a cozy space where you can live under a roof and be warm. Home is where you have people with you to make it a home. You make memories over the years that you would never forget. Home means learning over all the years, getting better each year, getting help from the people who care for me. It is also practicing each time to get better. A house is a building. A home is where memories will be with you for years. Loving on all the people who love and care for me. Home is happy, caring, and excited. Home is always having a warm bed to go and sleep in. That is what a home feels like. Blankets cover you and your head rests on a pillow . Home is always eating at the dinner table and eating new meals each day or eating a meal that I already ate. Home can be going in the backyard to play fetch with my dog and practicing hockey. These are fun things I do each day. Sometimes I can wake up and get to see the beautiful sunrise out of my window. Home is where you always feel welcome. A house is just a building and there is nothing special to it until you do those things to make it a home.
