Home

A house is built of wood and rope, but a home is made with love and hope. A home doesn't have to be a mansion made of real silver or gold, It doesn't have to have fancy chairs or a fancy table. Home isn't a place, it's a feeling, a feeling in your heart, a feeling that you will never feel in any other place than home. A house has a door that you can open and walk into, with walls and floors. But a home is more than that, it’s the memories on the walls, the memories shared with people you love in the rooms, and the joy it gives you. A home doesn't have to have walls and floors, A home can be anywhere you feel wanted and loved. A house may be full of art, furniture and things, but a home doesn't need these material things. Even if you move to a place far away, if you're with your family, They will be your home to forever stay. Home to me is a mix of emotions. If I have a hard day, home is like a bundle of love waiting for me after school. When there's a storm, I know it will protect us and keep us safe, dry, and warm. A home is like a best friend, you can tell it your secrets, and your sorrows, Or even your ideas for tomorrow. If I talk to myself, I know the walls will listen. Day or night, rain or shine, I know that it will always be home. I am so happy to participate in this event. Thank you so much habitat for humanity!
