What home means

Some people say a home and a house are the same thing, but there is a difference. A home is a place to go with joy after school. I cuddle with my puppy, sit at the fireplace with family, and have fun with family and friends. Having a room to go to, having love, having fun, and having somewhere to go. I dance in my room; I do puzzles with my mom, me, and my dad cook in the kitchen, and I do my nails with my sister. I love making memories at my special home. Home is where my family is, all the stuff we do, we do it with love. I love having a home, it's warm and cozy no matter what, it has my family. In the summer I play on the trampoline with all my friends in the backyard. In the winter I play in the snow and drink hot cocoa with marshmallows. I sit near the fire with family and friends. I love my home. A house isn't a home to me, a house has four walls and a roof, a home has four walls and a roof, but every single wall is filled with memories and laughter. A home has family and love and with it comes memories everywhere you go. Thank you, habitat for humanity for helping families in need.
