HOME ISN’T JUST A DESTINATION

Home isn’t just a destination, in are everyday lives it’s more than that. A home place, you can be yourself, feel safe, have fun with friends and make memories with family. Each room has a special importance. For an example, in the living room when I play games with family and friends. It’s like everything else just fades away, like there’s nothing wrong in the world. It’s one of the best feelings ever. There's no bad moves, plays or ideas. When I play a game, I can remember all the times I played the game before. Then there's the kitchen, the kitchen is what some people call the heart of the home. This is where my sister and I learnt how to cook all our favorites. Where we can make our sign signature pancakes on snowy winter days. Where the snow looks like the snowflakes are drifting around the night sky. Upstairs is my bedroom. In my room is where I store my toys, trinkets and prized possessions. It’s where I start and end the day. I watch the sun rise and set. Your room is one of the most important rooms in a house. It’s a safe space to feel sad, happy, find ways to end boredom, it’s your own little paradise. Then, there’s the backyard, where my sister and I enjoy time on the deck barbequing with family, picking vegetables from our garden, or just playing all day with our dog. In the winter we build snow forts and build ramps for our sled. Our yard gives us space to do or be anything you want. In conclusion, home isn’t just a destination or a building, it’s also a feeling. A feeling of safety, happiness, and a place full of memories.
