What is home?

Home, what is it? Many people will say that home is a place to eat and sleep, but everybody thinks of it as something different, since everybody’s home is different. So, what does it even mean? I came to Canada when I was 1 year old, and moved 3 times after that. I learned that home isn’t just a plain old building. It’s a place where you feel comfortable, safe, loved and where your family and memories are. It’s a cozy, peaceful place. Still, not everybody has a home. Many were destroyed in wars. Also, homes and houses are different. Houses are buildings with rooms meant for shelter. Homes are places people live, feel safe, and belong. So, homes are places where you live, feel comfortable, and belong. It’s where your family and memories are, and where you feel safe. THE END
