Homes' Life Purpose

The powerful wind blew against the window pane But the house held strong and did not get hurt It pushed his way through the rain And kept me safe from nature’s threat As I walk into my home A soft warmth welcomed me in It felt like a pool of water and foam Different from the outside world On holidays like halloween The house it filled with joy and laughter A happy place, not sad or mean Just a safe place to be on halloween or any other holiday As you walk into a home, smells of food appear Cakes, cookies, pizza, and chicken Together have food with no fear A place to enjoy bites of cheer Home is warm and comforting place to be Memories overwhelm my brain Warm air hugs me As to say “Welcome back” emotionally In spring and summer, the backyard is green with bright sunbeam The backyard is filled with flowers, bee, and butterflies In winter and fall, colours slowly fade, with snow as soft as melted ice cream A enclosed place to enjoy nature When storms rage outside, it's nice to stay inside Playing with toys and watch tv Or just look at the rain on the other side Play with family and friends as the house shelters you from danger Home is more than a building It acts as a shield from snow and rain. but when it falls from strikes of lightning It only says “My mission is done”
