What is Home

Home is a place where you can create cherishable memories and is a building block of love, but a house is a place of private shelter that is splendid. This is what these words mean to me. Do you know what a home and a house mean to you ? To solve this question, you first need to know what the difference is between the two, but don’t worry as I will explain. A home is a special place where everyone cares and supports each other, while a house is a special place where you have safety and a climate - resilient place. In other words, it is a house that can protect you from all weather. In other places in the world, people don’t have these homes, as we should be grateful. When I first moved to Calgary, I had a difficult time adjusting. Luckily, we had family here who helped us feel belonged. Home is a place where you can celebrate with your families. It’s also a place where you can spend time with family and friends. You can play with toys and feel safe. This is what it means to me. A house is more than a shelter. It’s a place that provides you with basic needs as a person. You can do everything in peace. A house can be anywhere. From a rural area to an urban city, you can find a house about anywhere. This is what it means to me. So to summarize, we have talked about what a home is, the difference between a house and what it means to me. A home or a house is essential to have shelter, a safe and welcoming place , built by people and more. We all should be grateful for having one. A weather - resilient house is more than enough to survive as not all people have one.
