What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home is not just bricks and stones; it is the place for me where I can roam. It is a quite place of the heart, where dreams and memories never part. Within these walls my spirits soar, exploring realms beyond closed doors. Each room is a world of its own. A canvas for me where I have grown. In quite nooks or open spaces. I find myself in countless places. The living room is where I mostly stay, laughter echoes as frolic and play. With toys scattered and imagination wild, I am daring adventures as a joyful child. From dawn to dusk my playground it be, a world of wonder just waiting for me. Giggles and games all day long, it’s a cozy place where I sing my song. The kitchen is where we cook the food. Making different types when I am in the mood. A spicy sour salty and sweet. I like different food my mom makes for me to eat. Sugar come from the kitchen, oh so sweet. I cannot wait until my next treat. When I am hungry and its time to eat, I go to the dinning table and take a seat. Putting the plates, glasses, forks and spoons. I set the table to marry tunes. My bedroom for me is a little nest. Where I go to take rest. Sharing my bedroom with my sister is crazy, but without her I feel lazy. My mom’s office is where I am not allowed but still find a way to sneak in somehow. My mom stays there for a very long time, even though its already nine. Home really means everything to me, but without it I don’t know who I am going to be. Habitat for Humanity is doing the best, giving homeless people a place to rest. Habitat’s vision, clear and bright. A world where everyone’s home is right. No profit gained, just hands that care. Building future strong full of care.
