Home

Home is not just some building that was built, it's a place, a place of joy, and that joy in my home comes from my family. Home is my happy place, where me and my family watch movies together and eat popcorn and drink hot chocolate. We watch movies on Christmas like home alone and the Christmas chronicles and watch the snow fall. The exotic food smells in the kitchen smell like food from heaven. The dinner table is where we eat together and talk about each other's day. We laugh from memories that we had together. The food we eat tastes like love cooked right from the heart. We feel happy when we gather for holidays and hear each other's wonderful voices and catch up on our school life, sports life, work life, and family life. We also learn new things about our family members. When my family gets together we feel a river of comfort run through. At night when I go to sleep my bed feels like a bunch of sheep’s wool and the blanket feels like a heated blanket instead of a normal blanket, it's like it's giving me a warm hug. My pillow feels like more wool I can lay my head on. Home has all of my favourite items, such as my Play-station 5. When I use it for gaming it makes me feel happy because I enjoy gaming with my friends. I also feel happy when my cat comes and lays next to me. My cat gives me comfort, he's also pretty chubby which makes me happier because I like chubby cats. Home doesn't have to be a house, home is where you feel comfortable and where you can open up, it could be where your loved ones are. Home is not just a house, its a place of heart.
