Home isn't just a building

Home isn't just a building, it's a wonderful place with memories, love and support. Home can be cozy, warm and safe but not everyone is safe in their home like child abuse and other deadly actions in their home. For me home is a place to live, spend time together and hang out. Sometimes there could be violence in a home like arguing or fighting. It also means protection. It's like a barrier made out of bricks that blocks rain from getting in. When I wake up in the morning I smell the smell of Chinese cuisine that I love. The name of the Chinese cuisine I eat for breakfast is soybean milk and deep-fried dough sticks. The soybean milk is sweet and the deep-fried dough sticks taste like a crunchy fried donut. When I come back from school I usually do homework like math. When I have free time I usually watch tv or read books. My dad, mom, me all have jobs my job is doing chores like vacuuming the floor and my dad’s is a mover and my mom is a baker. We don’t own our house we rent because not all people are rich, some even don’t have a home.I am grateful for a nice, happy, cozy and safe home.
