Home

A home is a place where you feel safe and a place where you can dash up to your room and have a goodnight’s rest without feeling scared or unsafe. Things that make my house feel like a home is having a loving family that is there for me for everything! I love coming home to my mom in the kitchen waiting for me to come back from volleyball or school. I also love having animals that I can snuggle with when I am sad or tired I have two dogs named Charlie and George, one is a cavalier, and the other one is a golden lab! They are absolutely adorable. My sister Aria is so fun to be around and her personality is the definition of sassy and generous mixed together. Some of my favourite things to do at home are celebrating holidays with my family like Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day. My mom and dad on Valentine's Day, set up a table with red hearts spread everywhere and little goodies and gifts on our plates, of course with no food on them. Christmas is my absolute favourite holiday, listening to Mariah Carey and decorating the glowing tree with childhood ornaments! Everyone deserves a home not a house because there is a huge difference that most people don’t understand. Lots of people tragically don’t have a home which is very sad. It doesn’t matter how small, big or expensive it is, all that matters is the family and love that's inside of it. Always family first, nothing else matters. Don’t ever take anything for granted in this life because it’s so short that we only get a bit of time on Earth, so this is why a home is so special to me and so is family. A home is not a house.
