Meaning of Home

What does home mean to you? Home is important to me for many reasons. When I am sad my mom gives me hugs. When I get home from school my mom surprises me with treats. On the weekend my family and I watch a lot of movies. Those are some of the reasons why home is important to me. Home is my favourite place in the world. Whenever I seem sad my mom gives me hugs. Every time I get home from school she hugs me and says she missed me. She makes me feel loved and cared for. Mom is home to me. I love to be at home. I love my mom because when I am at school she bakes me cookies. She bakes my favourite chocolate chip cookies because she knows I love them. Home means a lot to me. I love home because I get to have a movie night every Saturday with my family. On our movie nights we get treats like candy, popcorn, pop, and chips. When we do a movie night I feel special, excited, loved and tired because we stay up late. My family is home to me When I am at home with my family they make me feel loved, cared for, and calm. When I come home my mom hugs me. My mom bakes desserts for me. Me and my family get treats on some special days. I hope home means a lot to you because it means a lot to me.
