My Home

A house is just a structure that has walls, a kitchen, a couch, and a backyard. But a home is a structure of love, joy, and a family that loves me very much. My home makes me feel loved. In my home we spend time together when we have movie nights. My home is special. My home is wonderful. I love my home because everyone is loved. It is also very cozy. I can curl up on my couch with a bunch of blankets and my dog. In my home everyone is kind. My family gives me hugs all the time. My home makes me feel safe because my family can protect me whenever I feel insecure, but mostly I do feel secure. I can play games like catch or tag in my backyard with my sister, brother and puppy. In winter we build snow forts. I am grateful that I have a home and a loving family. My bedroom is the best room in my home. It is my favorite room because it is really cozy in my bed. There are lots of blankets and pillows. I feel comforted and loved when I am in my bedroom. I lie down and watch my favorite shows in my room. Remember that a house is just a bland and boring structure and a home is a special area that’s love can never be replaced. Remember that now. I'm glad that Habitat for Humanity builds houses for people that need them. They are very nice to do that.
