A Place to Belong

Home may not be a place, Home may not be a shelter, But home is a past and future. A house may have fancy furniture or 3 floors But a home holds memories and unlocks new doors. Home is like a big light in a dark room, Or a friend in the middle of nowhere And that is what a house can't have. A home has family all around, That you can laugh with and dance around. A house may be special too But it will never compare to what a home could do. There is kindness all around No hate or judgement at all, With my family who has my back They keep me on the right track I will always remember my adventures there. It is all so special everywhere. I could go on and on what home means to me and everyone deserves one in this community.
