A Safe Haven
What home means to me is a safe haven where I can be.
Let my emotions go free and to play with family members. Where we share stories. Home is where laughter echoes in the hall. Where family vacations start and where children grow up to be strong independent men and women. A place where you feel accepted and joyful. A place where you can be your own person. It is a place where you can just sit back and relax in your own bed while you watch television. A home is a place that immigrants can hold in their hearts. Home is a place where you know that you are safe. In the Philippines, where I am from, there are many homeless people. I want all to have a home so people can be happy. I love that Habitat for Humanity is helping people find comfortable homes.
