What Home Means to Me

To me a home means somewhere you feel comfortable and respected. A home doesn't have to be a house, it can just be somewhere you feel like you belong. A home is somewhere you live and make memories. A home is where you can go if you're feeling sad or if you need to talk to someone. When I'm home I feel safe, relaxed and respected. You don't have to be at your house to feel at home, if you like reading you might feel at home at the library, if you enjoy art, you might feel at home in an art studio. Your home is special and the things and people inside of it are even more important. My favourite thing about my home is my room because it is so full of my personality and the things that I like. Another thing I like about my home is the food that my parents make for me. I am so grateful that I have a special place to call home and a place to feel like I belong.
