What Home Means to Me

A home is not a house that sits on a hill, It could be the streets, an apartment or a place you like best, But what matters most in a home is a family. A home is where you can sense your thoughts and nobody tries to silence you, In a home there are no more injections just to visit favourite places. Home is the place that fills your smiles with happiness and love, The place where you can be the weirdest you can ever be, All because you're with your family. A house is nothing compared to a home. A house may have a furnace, but a home has warmth. A house may have a couch, but a home has comfort. A house may have a lamp, but a home has the light. A house may have a dream catcher, but a home has dreams. Home is NOT about me, home is about Us. But one thing that not everyone knows is that not Everybody has a home. Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity for reading this and giving people the homes they deserve.
