Home

Home is a safe place where you can feel love. You can smell homemade soup and taste mashed potatoes and chicken. It’s where memories grow. There may be spare, empty rooms but love is still in the air. I feel love when I'm with you and when I'm not I still feel the love in my heart. I feel safe and loved as I drift to sleep while memories flow through my mind. I love home because it’s all about my family. As I close my eyes, I remember everything I've been through and how many people don't have a loving home. I hope that we can change this by Habitat for Humanity building homes in our community.
