Habitat Doesn’t Just Give you a House

Habitat for Humanity is awesome because it helps families that need comfort, safety and a good community. In order to have comfort, safety and a good community you need a place to live and that’s why Habitat helps out. They don’t want people to be at risk of danger or unable to access clean water and fresh food. Where you live should make you feel like you belong, where you feel safe, where you go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. How does your community treat you? How do you treat them? Have you been there for a long time? Well if you just got there you could give your neighbours a baked good like pie or cake. Maybe you could say, “Hi,” and tell them you're their new neighbours. All of the stuff I listed is what home means to me. Not only does everyone deserve all that, everyone should have all that. A house from Habitat for Humanity makes that possible.
