Habitat for Humaity: Writing about Home

Habitat for Humanity is an organization that makes homes for people who can’t afford a place to live. Habitat for Humanity does this because they feel all people deserve a home. This organization builds homes and they volunteer their time and help those that are struggling financially. This organization does this out of the kindness of their hearts and not for money. Habitat for Humanity works to provide a safe space for all to live. I wish everyone had a home. I love my home for many reasons. Home is a place that holds memories. My home holds the memory of my grandma on my last birthday with her. My home holds the memory of the last night with my dog before we put him down. My home holds the memory of the first night I had in my home. My home holds so many special memories and I am so very grateful that I have a home with so many memories. I wish all people could relate. My home is a safe place for me to go. Home is a place where I get a hug. Home is a place where I have a shoulder to cry on. Home is a place where I can be with my family. Home is a place where I can breathe and take a break. Home is a place where I can go for anything. I wish everyone could have a safe place to go to, like I do. Home is not so much a place as it is a feeling. Home is the feeling of happiness. Home is the feeling of safety. Home is the feeling of love. Home is the feeling of joy that runs through you. Home makes me wake up in the morning feeling like a new person, a better me, a kinder me, and better to myself because I feel safe and loved when I am home. Habitat for Humanity is amazing at what they do. I wish everyone had a home. I am very thankful for this organization. This organization actually realizes that people need help to get back on their feet. I hope in the future everyone has a safe home.
