What Home Means to Me

Home isn't just a warm place to sleep. The entrance is a place to walk in and everyone greets you in. The kitchen is a place where meals are prepared. It is also a spot where we sit around the table and share memories and funny stories. The bedroom is a warm room where you can close your eyes at night and think of happy thoughts. The attic is a spot to store well loved old items. The basement is a spot to make memories. The structure of the home is not what makes it a home. It is the loved ones in it. That's what makes it a home. Home is a place where you can feel safe.
