The Meaning of Home By: Arabella Why the meaning of Home is important to me. The meaning of home is important to me because it is different from a house. To me a house is just a building we live in. A building we sleep in, that has been built and is not as special as a home. But home is a place where we can feel safe and comfortable. If your home is not comfortable, then it’s not the right home for you. We all need a home. My home to me is wherever my family is. My family is my home because to have a true home there needs to be love, and your family can do just that. Home is the place where you can just be yourself, like being able to enjoy the things you like, celebrate your culture, have your own personality and be exactly the way you want to be. To me a home is also the place where we make memories. Where we can make memories with our family, friends, and pets. We then hold those memories with us everywhere we go and will never forget them. Lastly, a home is the place where we can celebrate our cultures without a worry. These are the reasons the meaning of home is important to me.
