What home means to me

Hi, my name is Sydney. I will be talking about what home means to me. Home has so many things like comfort, love, and family. In this essay this is what I am going to talk about. Firstly, I want to talk about my family. My family are the most important people in my life. They help me, they have fun with me. For everything they have done for me in my life I could never repay them for the kindness and love they have given me. I realized that not everyone has a family like mine, and I feel so lucky to have them in my life. I hope everyone has someone to look up to. Secondly, I want to talk about having a house. It is amazing to have a great home but having a house is especially important to me because in Canada it gets so very cold, and it gets to -40 degrees. There are 1,127 people in Winnipeg struggling from homelessness and it is very sad. I am incredibly lucky to have a house that keeps me safe and warm, and if I did not have a house there would be so many more dangerous this that would affect my life and I am so happy that I do not have to struggle with that. Lastly, a home is so much to me because of the love my family gives me. My Mom and Dad give me so much love and kindness as my whole family does. And I want to give them as much love back. I love my family so much And I want to be the best big sister to my brother. I love them so much. Home is not just a building it is a place where I feel safe and loved.
