HOME TO ME

Home to me is waking early and bright Not a single movement in sight.Seeing my mom making pancakes on the table. Pancakes are so soft that they are not stable. Making my lunch, getting ready for school Next thing I know, I'm out the door in the frosty air. I get home. I'm in the boot room all, those smells in my nostrils. I sit on my bed. I'm so relieved that maybe tonight I'll get a good night's sleep. My sister better not make a peep. I do my laundry, smell the detergent, and play video games. I can wait until school on Monday, wishing I was done with school already. when my mom wakes me up. 5 MORE MINUTES! I mumble, but my head is so loud. I jump out of bed and hop in the shower. I look through the window, and I see the snow plower. My mom screams Snow day! I'm so happy I get to stay in bed and rest my head.
