What Home Means to Me

A home holds your memories safe! One thing that makes my home special is that we mark our heights on the doorframe. It started as far back as I can remember, maybe two and every birthday we see how much we have grown. A home is where your people are. For me, that is my mom and dad because they both love me and take a lot of care of me. My Brother Wyatt shows he cares by playing games and hockey with me. And my pets show me love by cuddling with me. Jack, my cat, loves to play and Louie, my dog, loves to play hockey with us. He is the defender and will playfully try to grab the ball. A home is a place where you feel loved. My family shows love by accepting me for who I am, they love to cuddle me and play games with me. My mom and dad are easy to talk to when I'm sad or mad. It always makes me feel understood.
