The meaning of home

A house is something you build but a home is something you create. A home is filled with loving and caring people. You create memories with your friends and family,for example a birthday party or Christmas morning you make so many good memories. Home means more than just the place that you live. Love isn't something you can buy at a store. A home is a place of comfort, safety, love, care and many more things. My home is a wonderful place. My home is safe and I find that very important because if you're not safe and you don't feel safe it doesn't feel like a home. Safety makes me feel comforted, calm, thankful and warm. When I'm at home I feel nice calm and great. When I feel sad I know that I can talk with my family and friends that's why I feel at home when I'm with them. At dinner it's one of the best times of the day because we share laughs and we have fun. I feel calm and thankful when I'm with them. I love my family and my home because they are so caring and loving. My parents are the main part of my home because they have been here for me my whole life and if something is wrong I know I can depend on them. A house is always the same but a home you always keep building. A house is just the place you live whilst a home is somewhere you feel safe, welcomed and calm. I love home and my family and I am lucky to have a great and loving home. Home can mean anything to anyone anywhere but this is what home means to me
