What My Home Is

My home is my house, ever since I was little I guess I just felt like I belonged in my house. In my home there is lots of love spreading along the walls, through all the rooms and across the floors. I smell delicious baked goods coming straight from the kitchen where me and my mom love to bake and cook, and sometimes my dad joins in. My brother just might be a bit too little to cook and bake or he just doesn't want to. In my home there are lots of blankets and pillows that make me feel cozy. Some of those blankets bring back some memories. There is lots of laughter all through the rooms and lots of playful noises coming from the basement where me and my brother love to play and sometimes my friends. In my home I have some family to make me feel safe and comfortable. I have made lots of memories in my house that are not all from an item but just from the house itself and family and me making memories. Almost every room in my house has a candle specially chosen by my mom and the candle in my room smells like caramel mixed with vanilla. I normally see one of my two cats on my bed, their names are Aries and Husk, they're just so cute. I think of my house as not only a building but where I feel most safe. One place in my house where I have made lots of memories is in my living room, it's also where my family has lots of parties. I love my house and it will forever be my home.
