What Home Means to Me
My home is my safe place, a place where I can go and feel welcomed. My home has everything I need, like my warm, cozy bed which is complete with all my pillows and blankets. It makes me feel comfortable. A home doesn't always have to be a place where you sleep every night or where you spend most of your time.
Anywhere can be a home. A home for you could be outside at the playground or at school. These places make me feel welcomed and loved. For me, another place for home is the hockey rink, where I have a lot of fun playing games and practicing with my team. My home is more than just a set of four walls and a roof.
My house is a place where I feel safe, as I have my dog and cats, as well as my mom and dad who always comfort me.
In my home, I feel that I belong because my parents care for me and provide a roof over my head. I love to sit down at the table, enjoying the smell and taste of the wonderful meals we share. In my home, I have all my family and friends who spend so much time with me.
