My Home Is

Whenever I get home from school, I am greeted by my cat (Maverick). When my sister and my dad arrive home, they give me a hug. I love it when they give me a hug because it makes me feel warm and happy and safe in my home. When it's dinner my family gathers around the table and talks about their day. It makes me very happy that I get time to talk and catch up with my parents about school. I love it when my mom makes her steak because it is super juicy and good, and it smells awesome. Sometimes my sister and I play together, and we just have a sister’s night, either if we are playing on our IPad’s or playing a game off electronics. We still have so much fun! Sometimes when my sister and I are playing a game together, my cat likes to watch us play. I love my home because it feels cozy, fun, and joyful, and my home is where I have help and comfort. And even though there is a lot going on all the time, I think my house is an awesome and quiet place.
