My Home Is Just The Right Place My home is not just pretty with a couple of walls And a roof to protect my family and all. I take a seat on the couch, with my dog looking slouched. I turn on the TV, With my Mom cooking fresh cookies. Her warmth in her smile brings out joy. I hear my dog chewing his toy. My Dad is always trying his best. My brother is playing guitar, like the rest. My pantry filled to the brim with food. The furniture that's comfy, too. Two parents with loving hearts, even when we're far apart.
