What is a Home?

A home isn't just four walls and a roof, A home is where people can truly bloom. One story, two story, even a three story house, it doesn't matter. The faint sound when you walk by, lots of chatter. There's a lot more inside a home, you see. Not just plain old bricks and cement outside beside a tree. Home is where I´ll never fear because the folk I grew up with will always be near. From first steps, first words, first win, first achievement. Seeing smiles on my parents faces, happy for this moment. Home is where my adventure started. Living with people who are always kind-hearted. The people who care, teach, inspire, and love. My mother, father, siblings, grandparents, all of the above. A home can be small or ginormous, with space so wide. Nonetheless, each one has a feeling of inclusion inside. It's where you and I can truly feel like we belong. Where people can dance, laugh, and sing songs. My home reminds me of the smell of fresh cookies, that I make with my grandmother, Even if they burn, we share a moment of laughter.
