What My Home Means To Me

My home is a place where memories are made and there are connections that last a lifetime. Some people don't think that there’s a difference between a house and a home and some do. I think that there is a difference. A house can be gorgeous and doesn't feel safe and warm like a home. It can feel alone and empty. A home can be a place to start over. A home doesn’t have to look perfect and might not have a lot of furniture in it. But it will fill with family, friends and memories. You begin to feel welcomed and loved. The words house and home may be alike but, the meanings are different and are felt with your heart. I’ve only moved once but I know one thing, you can move 15 times but you will always have that one house that you’ll think of as a home.
