What Does Home Mean to Me?

What does home mean to me? Home is a place that I can go after school or when I’m tired and I need a break. I can go up to my room and go rest if I’m tired and not have to worry about anything. Home is a safe place that I can go. At night we can lock our doors to protect ourselves from intruders. It has heat to protect us from the cold and and all the different types of weather. These are some things that home means and home means a lot of things to me. So let me tell you some things that home means to me. Home means family to me. When I get home from school my Dad is always there to greet me. Sometimes we have board game nights and we always have fun and laugh. Home also means comfort to me. When I am home I can wrap up in a blanket and lay down on my couch and be super comfy. We have heaters that can heat our house in the winter so we have somewhere to go when it’s cold outside. If I didn't have a home I wouldn’t have any of those good things. I can’t imagine what it would be like to not have a home. I am so lucky to have a home. That is what home means to me.
