Home vs. House

You have probably been in someone else's house and you have probably seen a door matt that said "Welcome to our home". I bring this up because when I was little I did not know what a home was compared to a house. A house is what you see as a box with four walls a floor and a roof. You may think that a home is just another way of saying house, but a home is where you feel warm inside after a long day of school or it is a place where you can be yourself without other people’s opinions. You can do what you want and say what you want and if that's not home I don't know what is.
