The Meaning of H.O.M.E

Home is not just doors and windows. Home is a place where you can come home and know where everything is! Home is the smell of your mom's chocolate chip cookies baking! Everybody deserves a home that is safe and secure. Everybody needs a place to put their things in their own places. Homes have lots of love and memories and home is where you can bundle up when it's cold outside, sleep in your own bed, cuddle with your pets, have a nice meal ready for you at the dinner table for you. Home is a place to have a nice warm bubble bath then cuddle up on the couch buried in pillows, eventually falling asleep. Home is your fluffy pink carpet in your bedroom. Home is a place where you can just be yourself. This is what home means to me. I just know that not everybody has these feelings about their homes. This is why Habitat for Humanity helps with this because everybody deserves to have these feelings about their own home!
