This Is My Home

In a home, there is a feeling where you can feel warm and delighted—other wonderful words to imagine. A house is just a place, but a home is a great feeling. In a home, you have delicious food made with love and hard work by your family. On Saturday nights, my family, which includes my siblings and my parents, and I sleep in the living room and watch movies. During Ramadan, my mom makes traditional food, like grape leaves, which are my favorite—yum! A house is built with walls, ceilings, and a roof, but a home is built with love and memories. My home is a gorgeous place where I have a bed to sleep on and a high roof. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping other people feel warm, make delicious food, have a place to sleep, celebrate, and enjoy family just like me.
