The Meaning of Home

Home is more than a house and a building. Home is where you can be yourself. Home is where my heart belongs. When I come home from school I feel like I am walking into a soft blanket. It is cozy and where I belong. A home has everything you need and want. You feel comfortable with the things in your home. A home has infinite love. A home makes me and the people I care about feel safe. It is a place where special memories can be created. A home is a place where my family gathers for happy times. We laugh and play games and joke around. When we got my dog Marley we brought her home. She knew instantly this was where she belonged by the love she felt contained inside. I feel blessed to have two homes. One with my Mom and one with my Dad. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping people get a home where they can feel comfortable and safe.
