What Does Home Mean To Me

A home means a place where you can be loved, happy, peaceful, comfortable, emotional, safe, warm, and healthy. A home is just the beginning of life and starting off with a comfortable home can help you accomplish anything you want. That is how important a home is. A home is not like a house. A home is a place where you have memories, joy, happiness, support, and love. While a house is just walls, doors, windows, and a roof like when you moved to a new house. Okay, enough writing about what is a home. Time to write about what home means to me! My home is my favourite place to be because there is my family, warmth, love, food, clothes, and safety. For me my home is warm, cozy, peaceful, and full of happiness. One of my favourite times is spending time with my friends and relatives at my home. There are always pleasant smells filling the air after I come back from school because my mom is cooking delicious food to eat, yummy! My home allows me to make myself comfortable and happy. I think everyone, adults and children deserve a safe and warm home. I am very grateful that Habitat for Humanity is building homes for the people who don’t have one. By: Aditri
