What Home Means to Me

To me, home means where I know I belong, and I know I have a place in my home. Home is a part of me, and it will always have a place in my heart. Home is somewhere I feel safe, and loved. My home is somewhere I feel comfortable and protected. When I come home from school to the smell of a freshly made meal, I know that I'm home. Home is the sound of laughter from my family and I giggling. Home is the maker and holder of memories, both happy and sad. Home is where I feel safe and snug, tucked in my cozy, warm blankets, and even in the coldest winter, I’m still warm. Home is where I can be myself. Home is where all my clothes, stuffies and guitar is. Home is where I am and I know that I belong. When I come home from school, and I walk through the door, I get a good feeling, and I say to myself, “This is MY home”. Home is where I can call stuff mine. This is MY home, This is MY bed, This is MY room, These are MY Squishmallows/stuffies. Home is where my family is.
