Meaning of Home

Our home smells like fresh crepes (occasionally) and bacon and cookies and banana bread and gravy and sometimes just mixing random stuff, my mom does most of the cooking but it is all made in a kitchen with a marble looking counter and white/gray tiles on the floor. It’s very special to me and it is a wonderful sight. With the gray walls and big backyard with the crab apple tree, one of the trees is older and has shrivelled, small apples and the other tree that has bigger apples that are green and less shriveled. It is fun to throw them at the fence. It's all so wonderful. Rain on the roof and wind blowing. It’s a place where my family gathers and most people are welcome. It’s where I have lived for my whole life (9 years) and it means a lot to me. In that house I have my room with all my stuff which is a lot of stuff. It is kind of messy and hasn’t really changed that much except the carpet. There is the sound of cars whizzing by on the road, I feel safe and warm there. I like to be at home most of the time, especially when my parents are at home but I like it at home I like it a lot.
