Home is not just a place

A home is just a house, some may say. A place you wake up every day. But a home is more than the roof over your head, more than where you go to bed. A home is a feeling, not just a place. It’s where you can feel love and grace. Home is where you can feel safe and sound. Where you’re protected from danger all around. It is where you can work or play. And spend time with loved ones every day. So as you see, when you’re at home, you’ll never truly be alone. God will always watch over you, no matter who you are, and I know it's true. Home is where you can feel happy or sad. Or even where you can get mad. Home is where you can be free. So yeah, that’s what home means to me.
