What Home Means To Me

Home is where we can rest, A cozy place that feels the best. Walls that sound with laughter, Love and happiness are always found. The smell of food, fresh and sweet, The welcome mat under our feet. A chair that hugs, a bed so soft, A place to dream and rest aloft. The bedroom where many memories are made, The windows catch the morning light, The stars peek in to say goodnight. Each room a story, old and new, With memories that carry everyone. The kitchen sounds with clinking plates, The dining table patiently waits. Conversations flow, memories are shared, A bond so strong, nothing can compare. The garden blooms, a vibrant view, Grass so soft, a calming green. Footsteps echo on the steps. Through every season, it remains, Through sunny skies or hard rains. It covers us from the cold or hot outside, A safe place where we reside. Though walls may change, and roofs may fade, The love inside cannot be changed. No matter where we choose to be, Home will always be the best place to be.
