A home is where you live. A house is a structure. Where you live may be under a rickety bridge. A structure is on level ground. A home has people. A house has bricks or boards. The place you thrive has laughter. A house can be quiet. Where laughter is, is where people feel safe. A house can be dangerous. Where kindness is, is a place where you should feel free to share your feelings. Wherever you call home is where you cherish your favourite memories. Your home is a place where you can find comfort. Wherever your home is, is where you can find peace. Around your home is where you find helpful friends. Friends are where you find community. Community is where you find love. When you walk into the house, the warmth reminds you that you belong there. The sweet smell of what your Mom is making for dinner, lets you relax. The sound of your Dads voice lets you know he’s there for you. The sight of your bed makes you feel like this is where you belong. The sight of the bright green walls like a light behind a green paper, remind you this is where you live. Now I wonder, what does your home mean to you?
